Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

At Khurja Studio, every product is carefully handcrafted and quality-checked before dispatch. We strive to ensure that your shopping experience is seamless and satisfactory. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please review the policy below regarding returns, replacements, and refunds.

1. Return Eligibility

A product may be considered eligible for return or replacement if all the following conditions are fulfilled:
  • A return request is submitted within 48 hours from the date of delivery.
  • The item is unused, unwashed, and remains in its original condition.
  • The product is returned along with all original packaging materials, tags, accessories, and invoice.
  • In case of transit damage or defective products, a complete and uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory for verification.
Khurja Studio reserves the right to decline requests that do not meet the above criteria.

2. Initiating a Return or Replacement Request

To request a return, replacement, or report an issue with your order, customers must:
  1. Email us at support@khurjastudio.in within 48 hours of receiving the shipment.
  2. Provide the following details:
    • Order Number
    • Product name(s)
    • Reason for the request
    • Clear photographs and/or videos showing the issue
  3. Our customer support team will evaluate the request and communicate the further process.
Approval of return requests shall be solely at the discretion of Khurja Studio after verification.

3. Reverse Shipping Charges

Returns Due to Our Error

No return shipping fee will be charged if the request arises due to:
  • Receipt of a damaged product
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Incorrect product delivered
  • Missing item(s) in the shipment
Where serviceable, Khurja Studio will arrange reverse pickup through its logistics partners.

Returns Requested by Customers

For returns initiated due to reasons unrelated to product quality or delivery errors, including:
  • Change of mind
  • Accidental order placement
  • Preference-based dissatisfaction
  • Ordering the wrong item
Customers shall be responsible for the following reverse logistics charges:

The applicable charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

4. Refund Process

Once the returned product is received at our facility, it will undergo a quality inspection.

Following successful verification, customers will be notified regarding the approval or rejection of the refund request.

For Prepaid Orders

Approved refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment within 7–10 business days.

Actual credit timelines may vary depending upon the policies of the respective bank or payment service provider.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Refunds for COD orders may be issued through one of the following methods:
  • Store Credit
  • Product Replacement
  • Bank Transfer
The final mode of refund shall be determined by Khurja Studio.

5. Product Exchanges

Customers wishing to exchange a purchased item for another design, size, or product may contact our support team.
Exchange requests are subject to:
  • Product availability
  • Verification and approval by our team
  • Payment of any applicable price difference and shipping charges
Khurja Studio reserves the right to refuse exchange requests where products are unavailable or do not satisfy eligibility conditions.

6. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of verified transit damage or manufacturing defects:
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Made-to-order items
  • Products purchased during clearance, sale, or promotional campaigns
  • Handcrafted products exhibiting natural variations in texture, glaze, shape, finish, or color
  • Products damaged due to improper handling, misuse, or negligence after delivery
Please note that slight variations are inherent characteristics of handcrafted ceramic products and should not be considered defects.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Deliveries

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by providing:
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Images of the outer packaging and shipping label
  • A complete unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened
Upon successful verification, Khurja Studio may, at its discretion, provide:
  • A replacement product
  • An exchange
  • A partial or full refund

8. Order Cancellation

Customers may request order cancellation within 4 hours of placing the order.

Once an order has been processed, packed, or dispatched, cancellation requests may no longer be accepted.

Refunds for successfully cancelled prepaid orders will be processed in accordance with our standard refund timelines.
